MARCIALONGA CRAFT MOVES TO 2022

Marcialonga must cancel the cycling event 2021

Marcialonga announces that the 14th Marcialonga Cycling Craft that should be held on May 30th, 2021 is moved to 2022.

"We have a positive experience after the Marcialonga running Coop of last September and the Marcialonga skiing, and we have always worked with enthusiasm to organize the cycling Granfondo Marcialonga Craft. But, despite the awareness of the means and of the people involved in the organization and the support by the authorities, we realize that the emergency does not allow that the event is taking place in a pleasant and safe way.

The organization of the cycling race is more complex than other races, especially because it goes through two Regions and three provinces. The authorities that have always been confident in the other events, have advised not to organize the race in May but there is no chance to choose another date because the races calendar is full and we want to avoid conflicts with other organizations. 

After an analysis of the situation, we are sure that this is the best decision for athletes, volunteers, and collaborators.

We already confirm that registrations already done so far, will be entirely valid for the 2022 edition.

We continue to work hard to organize sports events."

Now the focus is on the running event, confirmed and scheduled on September 5th both for single runners and for teams involved in the relay race.
