WHO IS THE CARTOONIST SIMON SCHAER? 

I live in Zürich, Switzerland. Married with two kids. Back in the days I was an ambitious skateboarder. Then in 2011 I started with cross-country skiing and I found a new passion.
Drawing has always been a hobby of mine, sometimes more, sometimes less. Just for fun I did a few cartoons about cross-country skiing and a friend said that I should put that on instagram. That is was the beginning of my channel BlauExtra.
I was surprised that the channel grew quickly and so I decided to invest some more time in it.
And now, three years later I have the honor to make a t-shirt for the infamous Marcialonga race!!
So I hope I continue to have ideas and the time to draw cartoons about cross-country skiing. But also running, cycling or sport in general.
Maybe one day I can publish a book with my favorite drawings. That would be fantastic!!
