MARCIALONGA CYCLING CRAFT:
SOME PRECIOUS ADVICE TO FOLLOW!

While the snow is disappearing in the Dolomite mountains and the feeling for the bike is increasing, the date of the Marcialonga Cycling Craft is getting closer. Hereinafter some good adivice to finalize at best your race on the 29 of June:

INFO AND REGISTRATION

CHECK YOUR BIKE
Before the race check the status of your bike: the rear derailleur, the brakes, the wheels.   

THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT
In a mountain location you must seriously consider the sudden climatic changes. Organize yourself  with appropriate clothes for cold temperatures and weather changes.
The wearing of the helmet is mandatory and it is better to wear also the bike glasses.

THE ENERGY RESOURCES
During the race it is important to pay attention to the energy resources and water need, for this reason it is essential to bring along the necessary and to stop at the drink and food stations along the course: it is better to spend a minute at the stations than lose all your energies during the race. 

BE AWARE OF YOUR ABILITY
If you lack experience, face the downhill and the dangerous stretches of road with caution
If you are not physically well prepared choose the short course. 

A GOOD TRAINING: TARTU RATTARALLI IN ESTONIA 

On the 1st of June, everyone is welcome to South-Estonia, to join Tartu Rattaralli! The legendary road cycling event, first held in 1982, hosts more than 4000 cyclists in two different distances: 133 and 70 km. Start and finish are located in the centre of town Tartu, however, both of the tracks take the cyclists to the picturesque landscape of South-Estonia. Additional information: www.tartumaraton.ee

For a good entertainment, travel to Estonia already a couple of days beforehand! From May 29th to 31st, Tour of Estonia 2014, an UCI class 2.1 Europe Tour invites all the cycling fans to encourage more than one hundred professional cyclists on the track.
