Are you ready? Entries to the 10th annual Marcialonga Cycling Craft granfondo race in Italy are to open tomorrow. The road cycling event will once again get on the saddle on 12 June 2016 and the first 100 cyclists who will successfully register will start the race in the very first grid, right behind the pros.
Entry fee remains the same at 30 Euro as last edition and the highest standards concerning security, race packet and organisation will be met as always, Marcialonga management board assures.
Both 135k and 80k long courses along the streets of Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa are confirmed for next year's event, both starting and closing in the town of Predazzo and both riding up and down and crossing more than one alpine pass on the beautiful Dolomites.
Marcialonga Cycling Craft 2016 signed a prestigious partnership with the international series Gran Fondo World Tour and has become the only event on the Italian soil to join the Tour, which will be starting off in Barcelona (Spain) at the beginning of April, continue in June with the Italian Marcialonga event and the Golden Gran Fondo in the US, going back to Europe on the Pyrenees in July and closing in Kazahstan in September.
The Marcialonga Cycling Craft road event will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2016 and for those who are interested in taking part in this unique sport event on the Italian Dolomites, the best place to be tomorrow is certainly the brand new Marcialonga website plus Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube pages. Registrations are about to open in a few hours!
