Marcialonga Running approaches fast. Next 7 September the 25,5k long running race from Moena to Cavalese will get back on stage and both Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa in the Italian Dolomites will once again warmly welcome hundreds of sport lovers and runners. Over 700 entries from 16 countries have already been collected by the local OC, but many more are awaited in the next hours as those who decide to take part in the 2014 Marcialonga Running race will receive a discount and until tonight will pay only € 25. The price will raise by € 5 from tomorrow Friday 1 August.

Large groups are more than welcome in the Marcialonga family. In details, buying at least 15 race entries, you will receive a free ticket and to make the group entry process as simple as possible, the group leader will register the entire group, with no need for every member to register individually. The Group Entry Form is available online at www.marcialonga.it. In addition, each runner in the group will receive a special €2 discount on the unique Marcialonga Running commemorative t-shirt and the largest group registered in the race will be awarded with a special gift that the OC has not revealed yet.

Last year’s Running race was won by Moroccan Iahcen Mokraji who kept at bay Isaac Toroitich Kosgei and Micah Kiplagat Samoei of Kenya, and set the new 1:19:04 record time along the 25,5k long course from Moena to Cavalese town centres. On the women’s side, Ivana Iozzia of Italy crossed the finish line for first ahead of Eliana Patelli and Mirella Bergamo.

The 2014 Marcialonga Running is the last step of the Combined event ‘Punto3 Craft’, together with the Marcialonga Cycling Craft and last January’s ski-marathon.
