The Marcialonga Coop is a running race that has been renewed for over 20 years now and it takes place on the first Saturday in September.
The race winds its way through the valleys of Fassa and Fiemme in unique scenerios.
THE TRACK
You can choose the race between:
> Half Marathon: Moena - Masi di Cavalese
> 26,5 km: Moena - Cavalese
> Relay
The race starts in Moena, called the “Fairy of the Dolomites”, a village linked in fabulous legends and surrounded by the world’s most famous mountains: the Dolomites.
The route winds along the cycle path through the Fiemme and Fassa valleys, alongside the River Avisio and through green pastures and woods.
The route also passes through charming villages, such as Predazzo, with its warm and welcoming crowd, where the first relay changeover takes place, and Ziano di Fiemme, with its characteristic narrow streets. At Lago di Tesero, the second relay changeover point, the passage through the Stadio del Fondo – the venue for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics – is sure to be thrilling.
Continuing for 3.097 km, the half-marathon runners reach the finish line at Masi di Cavalese (km 21.097), whilst the other competitors must still tackle the steady but not demanding climb to the finish in Cavalese (26.5 km).

THE RELAY RACE - A RACE OF SOLIDARITY
The Marcialonga Coop can be tackled solo or in teams, passing the relay baton in the three fractions of the route. The relay race wants to embody the values of ‘sport for all’, physical well-being, sharing and solidarity.
Registration for the event is possible through non-profit charities to which part of the registration fee will be donated.

A FUN RACE FOR KIDS TOO
As for in other Marcialonga disciplines, Marcialonga Coop also dedicates an event to the future runners, where kids from 6 to 12 years are the protagonists of a 900 m loop in Moena city center. Discover Mini Running Coop!
NOT ONLY RUNNING!
The Marcialonga Coop is the third and last race of the Marcialonga season, which starts on the last weekend of January on the cross-country slopes with the most famous Marcialonga, and continues in May with the Marcialonga Craft, a cycling granfondo over 80 or 135km. The Marcialonga Coop, together with the other two Marcialonga challenges, is an indispensable stage to become a member of the MARCIALONGA SUPERSTAR CLUB or to finish the COMBINATA BY CRAFT in team, the rankings that give discounts and special prizes to the athletes who decide to tackle all three disciplines both individually and in team.
