WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT
The Marcialonga Coop is a running race that has been renewed for over 20 years now and it takes place on the first Saturday in September.
The race winds its way through the valleys of Fassa and Fiemme in unique scenerios.
THE TRACK
You can choose the race between:
> Half Marathon: Moena - Masi di Cavalese
> 26,5 km: Moena - Cavalese
> Relay
The start is in Moena, the ‘Fairy of the Dolomites’, a town linked to fabulous legends and surrounded by the most famous mountains in the world: the Dolomites.
The route runs along the cycle path of the Fiemme and Fassa valleys, always alongside the Avisio river.
Through green pastures and the Predazzo Ski Jumping Centre, which will soon be the setting for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympic Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined competitions, we reach Predazzo, called the ‘Geological Garden of the Alps’, because here there is the highest concentration of geological varieties in the world.
In the centre of Predazzo, animated by a warm crowd, there is the first relay change. Continuing on, one crosses meadows and fir-tree woods that lap the village of Ziano di Fiemme. We continue to Lago di Tesero, where we cross the centre of cross-country skiing, the protagonist of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. Here will be the second relay change.
A further 3.097 km will take the half-marathon competitors to the finish in Masi di Cavalese (km 21.097), while the other competitors will still have to tackle the climb - constant but not demanding - to the finish in Cavalese (26.5 km).

THE RELAY RACE - A RACE OF SOLIDARITY
The Marcialonga Coop can be run alone or in a team, passing the relay baton to three people. The route is divided into three fractions, each of which must be run by a member of the team, thus giving everyone the opportunity to experience the emotions of the race by sharing this experience with their teammates.
The relay race aims to embody the values of "sport for all", physical well-being, sharing and solidarity.
Registration for the event is possible through non-profit charities and part of the registration fee will be donated to the association and to important solidarity projects.

A FUN RACE FOR KIDS TOO
As for in other Marcialonga disciplines, Marcialonga Coop also dedicates an event to the future runners, where kids from 6 to 12 years are the protagonists of a 900 m loop in Moena city center. Discover Mini Running Coop!
NOT ONLY RUNNING!
The Marcialonga Coop is the third and last race of the Marcialonga season, which starts on the last weekend of January on the cross-country slopes with the most famous Marcialonga, and continues in May with the Marcialonga Craft, a cycling granfondo over 80 or 135km. The Marcialonga Coop, together with the other two Marcialonga challenges, is an indispensable stage to become a member of the MARCIALONGA SUPERSTAR CLUB or to finish the COMBINATA BY CRAFT in team, the rankings that give discounts and special prizes to the athletes who decide to tackle all three disciplines both individually and in team.
