This project comes from the idea to support amateurs and runners for Marcialonga Coop, the running race scheduled on the first weekend of september.
In order to better develop the project, we asked the cooperation of Giulia Dallio, a running coach who run in the past the Marcialonga running event. She is happy to help us and to support those who want to join the program “accompanying the runners at the finish line”.

WHO CAN ATTEND THE PROGRAM?
The program is dedicated to those who would like to start running and to those who would like to follow a professionally planned program. The goal is not to set the best time but to reach the finish line while enjoying the race.
Giulia will give you two options: a training program to run 10km - one of the leg of the relay by Marcialonga Coop and the second program to run 26km, the Marcialonga Coop.
The 10km-program is generic and suitable for everybody, it does not matter if you are not a runner, if you are a man or a woman; the most important is that you are an active person.
The 26km-program is more specific for runners because Giulia will share her personal program and she will be at the start of the race.
Some important information before joying the program: every runner is different, everyone has his own rhythm, his own athletic preparation, and characteristics. The programs are guidelines suitable for men and women. For a more specific preparation a personal program based on personal characteristics and goals is advised.
WHO IS GIULIA DALLIO?
Born in 1989, graduated in Motor and Sport Science with a specialization in Sports Training Methods, she a sport teacher, running coach, fitness instructor and athletic trainer, but she is also a Marcialonga fan.
“The love for sports led me to learn this sector. I run since I started to walk! I started to attend athletics at the age of 6, the middle distance was my favourite one. I lost the competition when I started the University, but I continue to run because it makes me feel good.
I like the competition, I like play the game, I like the challenge but especially I like to challenge myself. I train myself because I like it, I want to keep fit and to improve myself.
I train the others for the same reason.
If you want it, you can do it: this is my main motivation.
With this project I would like to support amateurs and runners with the goal to enjoy the race and to reach the finish line with satisfaction.”
