MARCIALONGA RUNNING, 10 DAYS TO GO

These are the last days to answer the call of Marcialonga Running, the event which will celebrate Sunday, September 4 its 9th anniversary.

An increasing number of runners have already legalized their participation even if the top athletes wait the final days to send their confirmation. 

By now there are about 1.200 runners, 20% ladies, from 12 different countries already registered for an event that promises to become even more international. And the 7th World Championships  for graduates in Medicine and Dentistry adds a cosmopolitan touch to this race.

The Marcialonga Running is also valid as the final stage of the Combined Event PUNTO3 CRAFT, which final ranking is the sum of the times of those who took part in the Marcialonga skiing in January (70 km), Marcialonga Cycling Craft in May (135 km) and, finally, the running race, 25,500 km to face from Moena to the finish in Cavalese, with 140 m. of the final uphill.

On Sunday morning the Minirunning for young athletes (from 6 to 12 y.o.) will also take place on the last 600 metres of the main race course. The start will be given at 10.00 a.m. and entries can be done directly in the starting area.

The last to the finish is expected at 1.30 (time limit 4 hours) and after having tasted the Italian pasta, all competitors are expected to assist to the rich prize giving ceremony at 2.30 p.m.
