Be informed
Check where the start is, the entrance to your group, the sacks depot and the toilettes. Verify also the arrival zone and where the several services are: final drink station, pasta party, dressing room, free shuttle service and payment bus stop. If you are informed you will be safe and relaxed.
Study the course
Before the race, control the course map and the profile. You can divide the race in parts: at the end of each part you will get good sensations and it will be easier to reach the final goal.
Check also on the profile where the feeding stations are and stop to drink and eat to recover the energy.
Take your time before the start
Take the necessary time before beginning the race to do some warm-up, talk to the other runners and concentrate: it will help you to reduce the pressure and to focus on the run.
Be optimistic and have fun
