THE REGENERATIVE NATURE OF MARCIALONGA COOP

After the cross-country skiing event and the cycling race, for Fiemme and Fassa valleys (ITA) now it’s time to host the sixteenth edition of the running competition of Marcialonga Coop from Moena to Cavalese scheduled for 2nd September.
The combined Punto3 Craft – ranking that adds up the athletes’ results in all Marcialonga events – will have its icing on the cake by hosting this last stage in Fiemme and Fassa. The charming and welcoming valleys of Trentino "invite" all fans to spend a few days of holiday enjoying the track of Marcialonga Coop from Moena to Cavalese – just like the legendary winter ski-marathon. From the cycle path along Avisio torrent to characteristic villages, woods and meadows in front of the imposing Dolomites, the athletes will then find the final decisive climb and the last challenging kilometres to complete the 26 km of the track. Anyone can take part to the race, either in the individual race together with all the other competitors, or in the relay with three fractions (10 km - 8 km - 8 km), an opportunity to meet the physical needs and levels of preparation of each.
The benefits of running are known to most: better energy, anti-stress, weight loss, better sleep quality, stronger bones and joints, more happiness hormones, longer life expectancy, healthier heart and better digestion, enhanced immune system and greater self-confidence.
The registration fee for Marcialonga Coop is 30 euros for single competitors, while the relay competitors will have to pay the total fee of 60 euros, all by August 2nd.
Running is important, but running in the valleys of Fiemme and Fassa with Marcialonga is even more important.
