The new long distance ski championships across Europe, Ski Classics, which consists of the
6 most prestigious long distance skiing events in the world will be broadcasted live worldwide on www.skiclassics.com.
The first Ski Classics event, Jizerska Padesatka, will take place on Sunday the 9th January in Czech Republic. In order to reach fans across the globe all 6 events will be available to watch on Pay-per-view with English commentary on www.skiclassics.com for €9 per event. The worldwide internet broadcast will be geo-blocked in territories where TV channels have acquired exclusive internet rights. Ski Classics is developed by IEC in Sports. “This is a great step in order to connect to ski fans all across the world, whether they are interested in watching the elite skiers or getting a glimpse of relatives participating in amateur classes.” Says David Nilsson Executive Director of Ski Classics.
