THE MARCIALONGA STARS

The star of Marcialonga shines brightly not only from a sport side of view: in 2011 the 11^th edition of the Marcialonga Stars will once again join together sport and health. This event is held in strict co-operation with the association LILT which fights since years against cancer and in the same time try to spread out and make people aware of the advantages that a sport activity can bring to prevent health diseases. This union with Marcialonga has been of great support to the Prevention and Rehabilitation Centre and the Reception House for patients and relatives, both located in the city of Trento. Famous sportsmen, politicians and tv stars put on skis or snow shoes and for one day become testimonials of solidarity and friendship under the shiny star of Marcialonga .
