OPEN THE MAP OF THE FINISH ZONE AND THE RACE OFFICE

Race-Office BIBS COLLECTION

Start-numbers must be collected at the race office in Cavalese, Congress Center, presenting a personal document

 

THURSDAY 24th                     3.00 – 7.00 p.m.

FRYDAY 25th           8.30 a.m. – 12.00         3.00 – 7.00 p.m.

SATURDAY 26th                  8.30 a.m.  -    9.00 p.m. 

Timing

Applied inside the bib there is a chip timing device. It is mandatory for competitors to take care of it and to wear it during the whole race (chip on the chest). The transponder will register the start and the finish time and the intermediate times at the different check-points. The chip must be returned to the organisers right after the finish (penalty of Euro 50,00).

Diploma and participation medal

The diploma with the intermediate times must be booked in advance at the race office. The price is Euro 5,00. At the end of the race, the diploma can be collected at the appropriate stand in the finish zone in Cavalese.  All competitors will receive a special medal right after the finish line.

Bus service

The morning of the race the main street is temporary closed between Predazzo and Vigo di Fassa. Competitors can use both private cars or the free buses provided by the organisation to reach the start and back. Detailed bus timetables are printed on the bib envelope. The last bus leaves Cavalese at 7.00 p.m.

The start

The start in Moena will be given in different waves according to the time table. The opening of the boxes could be postponed in case of queues in the first part of the course. The check-in at the gate is obligatory.

The finish

In the finish zone the following services are available: showers, dressing-room, food station, ski deposit and diploma collection. Buses will bring back competitors to their villages until 7.00 p.m.

All the services are available at the finish in Predazzo for the participants of the Marcialonga Light 45 Km.

Clothes sack

Clothes will be collected at the start and carried to the finish: one ticket must be fixed to a cloth, the other must be used to close the plastic sack that must be delivered to the lorry with the same colour. The Organising Committee is not responsible for the bags left in the boxes. The participants of the Marcialonga Light 45 Km can collect their clothes at the finish in Predazzo. Sacks not collected at the finish will be taken to the race office and distributed together with skis and poles replaced during the race.

Pictures

All the personal pictures will be published within a week on www.fotostudio3.com and can be ordered and paid by electronic shopping cart.

Results

Results will be published in real time on www.marcialonga.it.

Worldloppet

Marcialonga is member of the most important cross-country ski circuit of the world: the Worldloppet. The passport stamp is available at the finish.
