THE CALENDAR OF THE MAIN XC SKIING RACES 2016-2017

Dear friends,

today we do not give you tips about technique or training, but we would like to give you a support for the organization of next cross-country ski season..

It is very difficult to program the winter season. First, during the last years many races have been cancelled due to the lack of snow, especially in the first part of the races calendar. Then, there are so many races all around the world and it is not easy to choose in which events to take part.

The participation implies all the logistic aspects: the registration, the booking of the hotel or the flight if the race is far away, or to find a companion for racing or even for sharing the trip.

For sure, a prompt planning is useful and efficient.
We have collected the competitions of the Worldloppet, the Fis Worldloppet Cup, the Visma Ski Classics and the Italian Mastertour in this complete list.

Three races have already passed but the official start of the winter season 2016-2017 will be at the end of November.
There are 45 races all over the world to make everyone happy: the lovers of skating or of classic technique, those who will race in the international cups or prefers to race behind, those who grasp the opportunity for a holiday or wakes up at 4 a.m. to compete, the skiers who every year take part in the same events or others who use the excuse of the race to visit new countries.
