CRAFT SUPPORTS THE MARCIALONGA YOUNG

If you are between 12 and 19 years old and would like to feel the Marcialonga spirit, you could train yourself taking part in the Marcialonga Young, scheduled on the 28 and 29 January 2017.

Craft, the world-known sportswear brand, already main sponsor of the Marcialonga Cycling, supports the young skiers and with a special backpack. This is an another incentive to take part in the youth race, even if the appeal of Marcialonga is already a good reason to participate and ski along part of its original track.

There are 4 categories, born from 1997 to 2004, men and female, which will race on different length.

The category M/L 2004 – 2003 will be on the start on Saturday, right after the Minimarcialonga, on a course 4 km long in the Cross-Country Ski Stadium of Lago di Tesero.

The race on Sunday, for the categories M/L 2002 - 2001 L 2000 – 1999 – L 1998 – 1997, will be more challenging: the start is always in Lago di Tesero, but the race arrives in Cavalese, 9 km after, and the skiers will face the legendary Cascata climb, called Full Gas.

The last categories to compete will be M 2000 – 1999 – M 1998 – 1997: they will ski along the last 14 km of the Marcialonga course, reaching the turning point in Molina di Fiemme and facing the last uphill  that leads to the finish line in Cavalese, just before the arrival of the big champions of the 44. Marcialonga.
