ELISA VARESCO IS THE NEW SOREGHINA

Elisa Varesco, from Lago di Tesero, the resort that will host the Nordic Ski World Championships in 2013, has been elected as new testimonial of the Marcialonga events 2011.  She is 19 years old and has spent the school year 2008-2009 in Övertorneå, Sweden at the Gränsälvsgymnasiet. This is why she could be easily compared with the Swedish Kranskulla, the girl that puts the laurel crown around the neck of the winner of the mythic Vasaloppet. She is Nordic-walking instructor, she plays soccer and volleyball, she loves cross-country skiing and mountain biking, she speaks fluently English, French, German and, obviously, Swedish. Elisa will begin her important role at the running race in September, then she will be at the finish in Cavalese on January 30^th to wait for the winners of the 38^th edition of Marcialonga. Her last commitment will be the cycling race in May 2011. One year full of emotions that the Marcialonga world will surely give her.
